Me.dium Sponsors Online Music Festival

Boulder, Colorado-based Me.dium, an online web browser plug-in for social surfing, said today that the firm is sponsoring an online music festival. The social networking tool and widget firm is featured as part of a live streaming music band which will bring together five rock bands, including Rose Hill Drive, The Fiery Furnaces, Jeffrey Lewis, Gosling, and The Willowz. Me.dium's social surfing plug in will be used by RockMe to allow fans to interact with the artists. Financial details of the sponsorship were not released. Medium is venture backed by Commonwealth Capital Ventures, Spark Capital and Appian Ventures, along with individuals.
