Peak Devices Acquisition Completes

TriQuint Semiconductor, a manufacturer of wireless communications products, has concluded its acquisition of Boulder's Peak Devices Inc., a fabless semiconductor company that specializes in discrete radio frequency transistor technology, TriQuint announced Tuesday. The Hillsboro, Ore.-based company first revealed its intent to purchase Peak Devices on Aug. 21. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. TriQuint said Peak Devices' market segments include two-way communications, telecommunications, avionics, radar, military and FM and television broadcast. Peak Devices was founded in 2000, and was headquartered in Boulder, Colorado.
