Infinite Power Hires CFO, Manufacturing VP

Infinite Power Solutions Inc., a developer of thin-film energy storage devices, announced Monday that it has hired two new executives. David Kirwan, a 20-year-plus finance and operations veteran, has been named Infinite Power;s chief financial officer, while Robert Smith, who has 19 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience, has been installed as vice president of manufacturing. Infinite Power said Kirwan will oversee budgets, cost accounting, strategic planning and all aspects of the company's financial report. Smith, Infinite Power said, will supervise all manufacturing activities, including the installation and qualification of the company’s new factory equipment. Founded in 2001, Infinite Power Solutions is a privately held, venture-backed company based in Littleton, Colorado.
