Fox Interactive Media Acquires Photobucket

Denver, Colorado-based Photobucket, an online photo sharing web site used by Internet users for posting their photos to social networking and other web sites, has been acquired by Fox Interactive Media, the parent firm of MySpace. Financial terms were not disclosed. Photobucket was founded by Alex Welch and Darren Crystal in Denver, where it still maintains its operations. The company also has offices in Palo Alto, California. The firm employs around 60, and was founded in 2003.
