Intuit Unveils Eclipse Mobile Interface
Intuit Inc. revealed Monday that it has launched a mobile interface for its enterprise resource planning software. Called Eclipse Mobile, the new utility can interact with Intuit Eclipse from remote devices such as smartphones, pocket PCs and PDAs. Intuit said Eclipse Mobile will enable salespeople to remotely access important information, including customer and product data, sales order details, vendor information, account balances and pricing totals. Intuit added that Eclipse Mobile 1.0 is already available for sale. Intuit's Eclipse division is headquartered in Boulder, Colorado. Intuit acquired Eclipse in 2002.
