ProStor Promotes Alaimo to Engineering VP

ProStor Systems, a developer of removable disk storage devices based in Boulder, Colorado, has elevated Chris Alaimo to the position of engineering vice president, the company announced Tuesday. Alaimo, who has served as ProStor’s engineering director since November 2004, will be responsible for engineering and product development for ProStor’s line of RDX products and systems. Alaimo has more than 16 years of experience in the data storage and telecom equipment industries. Prior to joining ProStor, Alaimo worked as engineering manager for Quantum Corp. He also had supervisory roles with Network Photonics and Carrier Access after beginning his career at Exabyte Corp.
