Hypercom Acquires TPI Software

Phoenix, Arizona-based Hypercom, a provider of payment terminals, said today that it has acquired TPI Software, a Redmond, Washington-based provider of PC and server-based software for check processing. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Hypercom said the acquisition is expected to expand its offerings in the point-of-sale marketplace.
