McDATA Enhances LPAR Support

Broomfield, Colorado-based McDATA said today that it has enhanced its Intrepid 10K SAN switching product to support both open systems and FICON LPARs. The new enhancement allows both users of mainframe FICON connections and open Fibre Channel fabrics to connect into the same i10K product. McData is a manufacturer of networking equipment for the data storage market.
