McData i10K Ships With IBM

Broomfield, Colorado-based McData is now shipping its i10K Xtreme fabric director to IBM customers, the firm said, as IBM has incorporated the firm's i10k in the IBM TotalStorage SAN256M product. Mcdata's Fibre Channel switching product provides 2 Gb/s, 4 Gb/s, and 10Gb/s operation, VSAN support and trunking, along with storage area network (SAN) management software. McData is a provider of storage area networking equipment for the data storage industry.
