Limelight Networks Expands In Asia

Tempe, Arizona-based Limelight Networks said today that it has officially opened a new Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore. The firm said that Matthew H. Sturgess, VP Asia-Pacific, will head the new office. The firm is targeting the region due to what the firm describes as enormous demand for delivery of video, music, games, software downloads, and social media content. Limelight is a provider of a content delivery network focused on rich media content, and is backed by Goldman Sachs.
