Limelight Networks Expands CDN Capacity

Tempe, Arizona-based Limelight Networks, which operates a content delivery network (CDN) to help accelerate delivery of content to users, said this morning that it is in a big expansion of its network. Limelight says it has "egress capacity" of its network to 28 Tbps, and also added 11 new Points-of-Presence (PoPs) this year. Those new locations were in Brazil, Canada, France, India, Italy, Spain and the U.S.
