Micron Ships 16-Gigabyte Memory Module
Boise, Idaho-based Micron Technology has announced what it calls the world's densest server memory module, a new 16-Gigabyte device targeted at enterprise customers. The new memory provides 16 gigabytes in a DDR2 die, and is expected to be available in late 2006. The firm said its customers are evaluating samples of the product now.
