Oakley Rolls Out New Behavioral Analysis Appliance

Salt Lake City, Utah-based Oakley Networks has rolled out a new network-based behavioral analysis appliance that the firm says allows companies to monitor their network traffic and desktop PC activity. Oakley today said its new CoreView solution is an appliance that sites at the network perimeter or monitors interdepartmental traffic. The new solution is targeted at enterprises who need to monitor their network security. Oakley said in its announcement that its CoreView solution is currently being used by Applied Materials. Oakley is venture backed by Duff Ackerman and Goodrich, Fidelity Ventures, and Kleiner Perkins.
