Oakley Networks Becomes Part Of Raytheon

Salt Lake City, Utah-based Oakley Networks has officially become part of Raytheon, Raytheon said Tuesday. The company said that it has completed its buy of Oakley Networks, which will become a new, wholly owned subsidiary of Raytheon, within its Intelligence and Information Systems business. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Oakley Networks is a provider of data leakage prevension software, used to prevent information leaks from companies and other organizations. Oakley Networks was venture backed by Duff Ackerman and Goodrich (DAG), Fidelity Ventures, and Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers.
