University of Pittsburgh Taps TheraDoc, Makes Investment In Firm
The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center has tapped Salt Lake City, Utah-based TheraDoc's clinical decision support software, TheraDoc announced yesterday, and will make an investment in the firm. The medical center is using TheraDoc's software for automating data collection for improving patient outcomes, and to streamline infection reporting. TheraDoc said that UPMC has made a significant investment in TheraDoc as part of the deal. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. TheraDoc develops software used for tracking infections and other clinical data at hospitals. More information »
