Crosswalk Releases Storage System
Westminster, Colorado-based Crosswalk has released its grid storage system for general availability, the firm said today. Crosswalk said that its iGrid Intelligent Storage Grid System is now available. The company's software and hardware is used by clustered and high performance computing (HPC) markets to allow for sharing of data storage resources. Crosswalk said the first release of its system supports from two to eight nodes, and is architected to support up to 256 nodes. Crosswalk said the Center for High Performance Computing (CHPC) at the University of Utah has deployed its system. Crosswalk is headed by Jack McDonnell, who was CEO and Chairman of McData.
