Sirenza Rolls Out Amplifiers

Broomfield, Colorado-based Sirenza Microdevices said this morning that it has rolled out a new family of linear power amplifiers used for the emerging WiMAX and WiFi wireless standards. The company, whose devices are used by manufacturers in wireless access products, said that its new amplifiers are intended as a low cost, high performance alternative to other ICs in the market. Sirenza is a supplier of radio frequency (RF) components.
