MPC Rolls Out New Desktop, Laptops
Nampa, Idaho-based MPC Computers has rolled out two new computers this morning, including a new desktop computer and a laptop. THe firm said today that its new ClientPro 686 desktop is targeted at high-end users looking for workstation-class offerings, and includes support for Pentium D and Pentium 4 processors, Dual Channel DDR2 667/533 SDRAM, and Microsoft Windows XP Professional. MPC's new TransPort T1300 notebooks are based on the Intel 945GM chipset, and include integrated Bluetooth capability and support for 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM memory, along with an integrated 4-in-1 media reader. MPC is a subsidiary of HyperSpace Communications and is a former unit of Micron.
