Wasatch Venture Fund Adds Principal
Salt Lake City, Utah-based Wasatch Venture Fund announced yesterday that it has added a new person to its roster. The fund said that it has hired Stephanie Spong as its Principal and head of its New Mexico office, replacing John Dunning, who left to become CEO of a Santa Fe startup. Spong was previously a principal for Greystone Management Consulting, and has served at RazorFish, McKinsey and Company, and Symmetrix. Spong attended BYU. Wasatch Venture fund holds positions in Veralight, Lumidigm, CanyonBridge, and other local firms. Spong will evaluate ventures in the New Mexico and Southwestern region, and will sit on the board of several portfolio companies.
