Utah Technology CEO Confirmed Dead
Erin Valenti, the missing entrepreneur and CEO of Salt Lake City-based Tinker Ventures, was confirmed dead by her family and police in San Jose over the weekend. Valenti--who had been missing at the annual Women In Tech Awards in Salt Lake last week--had been the subject of a missing persons search since she disappeared on a visit to Silicon Valley. Valenti's body was apparently located in a vehicle parked in a street in San Jose, where the Sant Clara County Coroner's Office is investigating the death. The Salt Lake Tribune said her family had been concerned for her safety since Monday. Tinker Ventures designs applications for iOS, Android, and websites.
