Sorenson Capital Leads $30M Investment In Incorta
Salt Lake City-based venture investor Sorenson Capital is the lead investor in a $30M, Series C funding round for data warehousing startup Incorta, adding Sorenson Capital to a long list of prominent venture investors in Incorta. According to Incorta, the Series C funding also included GV, Kleiner Perkins, M12 (formerly Microsoft Ventures), Telstra Ventures, and angel investor Ron Wohl. Incorta says it has now raised $75M in total funding. The startup's software helps businesses with analysis of complex business data, by helping engines directly use source data in their original format, without having to be translated into the native format of that data warehouse software (which is called Extract, Transform, and Load - ETL - in the data warehousing world). Incorta is led by co-founder and CEO Osama Elkady.
