Sorenson Capital is the lead investor this morning in database software developer
Couchbase, as part of a Series F funding round. according to Silicon Valley-based Couchbase, the $30M, Series F funding was led by Sorenson Capital, and also included Accel Partners, Adams Street Partners, Ignition Partners, Mayfield Fund, North Bridge Venture Partners and West Summit. Couchbase develops NoSQL database software. As part of the funding, Sorenson Capital's Rob Rueckert has joined Couchbase's board of directors. Rueckert joined Sorenson Capital last year, as a push into growth investments by the firm.
