Rogue Wave Software Acquired By Perforce
Louisville, Colorado-based Rogue Wave Software has been acquired by Minneapolis, Minnesota-based Perforce Software, the companies said last week, in a deal backed by private equity investor Clearlake Capital. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Rogue Wave Software develops embedded software development tools, with Perforce developing source code control and other tools used by software developers. The companies said that this is the sixth acquisition by Perforce in the last two years. Perforce said the buy will expand its global footprint, plus strengthen its existing static code analysis and automated test offerings. Clearlake Capital owns Perforce.
