Techstars has launched a new effort that turns to the group's alumni, community leaders, venture capitalists, mentors, and others to help start new companies. According to Techstars, the new initiative,
Techstars Studio will take ideas for new companies from its alumni and others, and then will build prototypes, test market adoption, and select the "most promising concepts" for launch as startups. Techstars said that it will source talent and capital from its network to run the new startups.
