Techstars> said Tuesday that it has launched a new effort to help improve the diversity of people in the area of technology entrepreneurship, with a new non-profit called
The Techstars Foundation. According to Techstars, the foundation will provides grants, scholarship, and sponsorships to help provide opportunities for underrepred entrepeneurs. Techstars said that the new nonprofit has been funded with more than $500,000 in cash, from founders, employees, alumni, and mentors of Techstars.
