Boulder-based bandwidth provider
Zayo Group Holdings said late Monday that it is planning an East Coast data center expansion, through a new location in Piscataway, New Jersey. According to Zayo, it will open up a new carrier-neutral facility, adding more than 47,000 total square feet and up to five megawatts (MW) of critical power for its colocation efforts. Zayo did not say how much it is investing in the new center, which it says will be used by a "leading financial services" tenant as well as additional customers. Zayo says the new center will bring its total number of colocation centers to 51 data centers across 30 markets.
