Zayo Completes Equinix, NYSE Link
Boulder-based Zayo Group announced this morning that it has completed a linkup between the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) data centers in Mahwah, New Jersey, and the Equinix/b> data center outside of New York City. Zayo said the route spans 37.7 km, which it says is the lowest latency, fiber route currently available between the two locations. The new link is targeted at financial firms, who are extremely sensitive to latency in their operations. Zayo did not say how much it spent to connect the two locations, which is one of a number of local links in the New Jersey and New York area.
