Lime Claims 16,000 Trips In Denver One Week After Launch
On demand, electric scooter rental service Lime says it has seen more than 16,000 trips in Denver, only a week after it launched its service in the city. According to Lime, as of Friday, June 1st, users of its service had logged 22,000 miles over the course of 16,000 trips in Denver. Lime offers up on-demand rentals of its scooters via smartphone. The company is reportedly in the midst of raising $250M in funding, in a round led by GV (formerly Google Ventures), in a round which will value the company at more than $1 billion. Lime is based in San Francisco.
