Englewood, Colorado-based satellite television provider DISH has extended its support for Amazon Alexa to its Joey clients, which means that Amazon's Alexa-enabled devices can now control a full household of set top boxes. DISH's Joey devices--which connect to the Hopper--are the set-top boxes which also let users view recorded and live TV from other televisions in a household. DISH has had support for Alexa on the Hopper since April of 2017. According to DISH, the new support allows each of its set to boxes to be paired with a specific Amazon Echo, Echo Show or Echo Dot.
