DISH Network has rolled out its new DVR system, the
Hopper 3, the company said this morning. The new DISH device provides 4K video recording and up to seven TVs simultaneously, plus recording and viewing of up to 16 shows simultaneously. DISH says it charges its customers $15 per month for a home DVR fee, plus $7 per month for each 4K client--which it calls a "Joey"--for 4K, HDMI televisions.
