Fortem Technologies Names Chief Strategy Officer
Salt Lake City-based drone detection and airspace security safety technology developer Fortem Technologies announced this morning that it has named Marty Smuin as thec ompany's Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Development. Smuin was previously CEO of Adaptive Computing, and also was President of Aircom International, Inc. He also served at Bytemobile, Openwave Systems, ACCESS Global, and other companies. Fortem is a developer of AI-enabled systems which help provide real-time airspace intrusion detection of drones, which the company says alerts, identifies and classifies drones and other unmanned aircraft vehicles (UAVs). The company is venture backed by Signia Venture Partners and Data Collective.
