Simplus, which develops sales quoting software, said today that it has acquired
Basati, a Salesforce partner focused on the financial services industry. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Simplus said the buy will help it increase its implementation support in the financial services industry, as well as managed services. Tim Smith, the CEO of Basati, joins Simplus as a senior account executive as part of the deal. Ryan Westwood is the CEO of Simplus, which is venture backed by Epic Ventures, Salesforce Ventures, and Silicon Valley Bank.
