Phoenix-based Carvana said late Tuesday that it has acquire Silicon Valley-based auto marketplace operator Carlypso. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Carlypso, which had been part of startup incubator YCombinator in 2014, had developed technology to dynamically filter, value and price cars without ever actually seeing them. Carva said Carlpyso's co-founders, Chris Coleman and Nicky Hinrichsen, have joined the company.
