Phoenix-based online used car seller
Carvana says it is expanding in Phoenix, with a new "inspection center" where it says it will employ more than a hundred. According to Carvana, the new, 179,000 square foot facility is based in Tolleson, and will inspect, annotate, photograph, and store vehicle inventory. Carvana said the new facility also include full paint facilities and mechanical repair services. Carvana says it now has an inventory of 7,000 vehicles nationwide. Carvana is now in 37 markets. Interestingly enough, although Carvana was founded in Phoenix, it only started
serving the market in August.
