Notion, a developer of smart home sensor devices to help detet everything from water leaks to open doors in a home, has raised $10M in a Series A funding. The funding was led by Draper Nexus and TransLink Capital, and also included XL Innovate, Mesh VC and others. Notion, led by Brett Jurgens, develops a system which can be used to monitor doors, cabinets, refrigerators, and also track temperature, water leaks, alarms, and more in a home, and alert users of any issues at home. Mitch Kitamura of Draper Nexus and Toshi Otani of TransLink Capital both join the company's board with the funding round.
