Boulder-based
Zayo Group said this morning that it has completed its big acquisition of
Electric Lightwave, in a deal worth $1.42 billion. Electric Lightwave provides infrastructure and telecom services in 34 markets of the Western U.S., and was formerly known as Integra Telecom. Zayo said the buy adds 8,100 route miles of long haul fiber and 4,000 miles of dense metro fiber across Denver, Minneapolis, Phoenix, Portland, Seattle, Sacramento, San Francisco, San Jose, Salt Lake City, Spokane and Boise.
