Zayo Expands Dark Fiber Reach In Oregon

reported a dark fiber win in Oregon today, saying it is planning a new, long haul dark fiber network between Portland and Umatilla, Oregon. Zayo said the network expansion will add more than 250 route miles along the Hood River corridor. Oregon is a popular location for data centers. Zayo did not say how much it is investing to build out the network. Amazon.com has a massive data center in Umatilla.
