Salt Lake City-based
C7 Data Centers, which has a big data center operation in Utah, has been acquired by
DataBank Ltd., a provider of enterprise data center services. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. DataBank is based in Dallas, Texas, and is owned by Digital Bridge Holdings. According to C7 Data Centers and backer Signal Peak Ventures, the exit was a "significant portfolio achievement" for Signal Peak. C7 Data Centers was headed by Wes Swenson. DataBank said the buy will complement its existing portfolio of data centers in Minneapolis, MN, Kansas City, KS, and Dallas, TX.
