FansUnite Acquired For $2M By Canadian Company
Boulder-based FansUnite, a startup which operates an online community which lets users put fantasy wagers on sports, has been acquired by Canadian company Fantasy 6 Sports. The deal is worth $2M, according to the companies. FansUnite was founded by Darius Eghdami, Duncan McIntyre and Nicolas Shuster, and was part of the Spring 2016 class of the Boomtown accelerator. FansUnite's customers are able to place fantasy wagers using free, virtual currency.
