Rovi said on Monday that the two are in a new, 10-year patent agreement. According to Rovi, DISH will pay it a monthly, per-subscriber fee, all linked to Rovi's deal to acquire TiVO. Rovi also said it will pay up to $60M over the next year to DISH related to patent licensing by TiVo.
