Galvanize, the provider of web development, software and other technical education programs, says it has raised $45M in a Series B funding this morning. According to Galvanize, the Series B investment was led by ABS Capital Partners, and also included Colorado Impact Fund, Haystack Partners, Greg Maffei, Aspen Grove Capital and existing investor University Ventures. Paul Mariani of ABS Capital will join the company's board with the funding. Galvanize was founded by Jim Deters, Lawrence Mandes, and Chris Onan, and now has locations in Denver, Boulder, Ft. Collins, San Francisco, Seattle, Austin, and Phoenix, as well as New York. The company has now raised $63M in total.
