Denver-based cybersecurity provider
Optiv Security has tapped a longtime Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), to help it solve specific problems in the healthcare and critical infrastructure areas. According to Optiv, it has hired Larry Whiteside, Jr., as Vice President of Healthcare and Critical Infrastructure. Whiteside was most recently Chief Security Officer at the Lower Colorado River Authority, and he also served at Comodo, Lynx Technology Partners, Spectrum Health, and Visiting Nurse Service of NY. Optiv said Whiteside specifically focus on
development and delivery of strategic services and solutions for healthcare and critical infrastructure.
