DISH is tying its Hopper DVR into a bunch of home automation systems, the company said yesterday, as part of the CEDIA Expo in Denver. According to DISH, it has unveiled integration with systems from Crestron, Savant, and AMX--in addition to existing integration with Control4--for its digital video recorder. DISH said it has provided an application programming interface (API) which has allowed those companies to manage the dish Hopper.
