DigitalGlobe Adds Customer For WorldView-4
Westminster, Colorado-based satellite imaging provider DigitalGlobe said it has added a third, un-named customer for its WorldView-4 satellite, its new 30cm, high resolution satellite it expects to start operating in 2017. DigitalGlobe did not name the customer, but said international defense and intelligence customers have commited $335M for capacity on both its WorldView-3 and WorldView-4 satellites. The company said those contracts represent approximately $38M in incremental annual revenue starting in 2017.
