ESPN Founder Bill Rasmussen Launches Social Startup In Wyoming
ESPN founder Bill Rasmussen has launched a new, sports startup, FEVR Tech, saying the startup is developing proprietary technology to improve and enhance the fan experience at live sports events. The startup, based in Jackson, Wyoming, has yet to roll out its product. Rasmussen said in a release that the company is developing the "most powerful social communication tool ever created specifically for fans in live sports venues". The startup says its name is derived from the acronym Fans Engage Vote Respond. Rasmussen founded ESPN in 1978.
