High-definition television manufacturer Syntax-Brillian Corp. has renewed and expanded its marketing agreement with ESPN, the Tempe, Ariz.-based company reported Monday. Under the amended deal, which will last through August 2008, ESPN will feature Syntax-Brillian's Olevia-brand HDTVs throughout the sports broadcasting company’s network of television, radio, print and Web-based outlets and live events. Olevia has been advertising on ESPN properties since September 2006. The updated agreement will present the Olevia brand during broadcasts of ESPN's SportsCenter and during National Football League, Major League Baseball and collegiate-level games. ESPN properties reach an estimated 121 million U.S. residents each week.
