Techstars More Than Doubled Employees In 2015
Boulder-based startup accelerator operator Techstars has grown from 55 employees at the end of 2014, to 131 employees as of Wednesday, according to co-founder Brad Feld. Feld--talking about the growth of Techstars--said the growth came from horizontal scaling of the accelerator's programs. Techstars added nine new startup accelerators during 2015, across the globe. The startup accelerator program operator typically partners with corporations to sponsor its accelerator programs, which are often centered on a certain theme supporting those sponsors.
