Optomec Gets Strategic Investment From GE, Autodesk
Albuquerque, New Mexico-based Optomec, a developer of additive manufacturing equipment and 3D printers, has scored a strategic investment from GE Ventures and Autodesk, the company said Wednesday. Size of the investment in the company was not announced. Optomec said the strategic investment from Autodesk came via its Spark Investment Fund. Optomec said those investments will go towards further development, promotion, and deployment of its 3D printing technology. Optomec's CEO is Dave Ramahi.
