The acquisition of Lehi, Utah-based
DigiCert, the issuer of SSL certificates, by private equity investor
Thoma Bravo is now complete, Thoma Bravo said this morning. Financial details of the acquisition deal haven't been announced. The deal had originally been announced in August. DigiCert issues SSL certificates, which are used by websites, for enterprise software, device authentication and security, and many other certificate-based, security uses. DigiCert was advised by Goodwin Procter and Evercore in the acquisition. The deal had originally been announced in August. DigiCert is based in Lehi, Utah. The company was founded over 10 years ago.
