Louisville, Colorado-based flash storage developer
NexGen Storage is ramping up its channel outreach, saying today that it has launched a new program to attract value added resellers. According to the company, it has launched an effort which lets its VARs double their margins on its NexGen N5 Hybrid Flash Array product. The new effort comes via an additional rebate on sales on the product, via the company's registration program. Channel sales organizations use "registration" to let value added resellers claim leads into potential customers, so that they receive credit if those customers purchase products--and also to keep other resellers from approaching those same customers. NexGen Storage
launched its N5 product back in January. The company was recently spun out of SanDisk, but has a long history on the Front Range.
